Bedford Memorial Hospital is sponsoring a community health fair on Saturday, Oct. 23, 8 a.m. - noon, at the Bedford Elementary School Gymnasium.
The health fair will offer a variety of screenings and health information booths. Registration is required for some screenings and refreshments will be provided.
The following is a list of screenings and booths:
Screenings (free unless noted otherwise):
o Total Cholesterol (registration is required), $10
o PSA prostate cancer (registration is required), $20

o Bone density
o Body mass index
o Pulmonary function
Educational booths (free):
o Hospice care
o Volunteering
o YMCA
o American Cancer Society
o Mended Hearts
o Bedford Community Health Foundation
